We are looking forward to a whole week of sport, but Olympic Day 2017 will link to our traditional races activity.

We will have a week of sport; our aim is to celebrate lots of sports: some Olympic, some Paralympic such as Boccia and IZB Basketball and some sports the children haven't tried before. There will be lots of medals and trophies to be won but the trophies will link intrinsically to the sports values we use linked to our school values. E.g. the Paralympic Value of determination and Olympic Value of excellence has been linked to our school value, Challenge.

Our Olympic week

Monday: Intra-sport challenge day mixed teams of Nursery up to Y6 competing against each other.

Tuesday: Traditional races

Wednesday: Change 4 life festival-promoting healthy life styles

Thursday: Circus Skills

Friday: Husthwaite House Team Heptathlon

We will also be using our growth mindsets to make sure we keep trying and do not give up!
