Olympic and Paralympic Award Ceremony

Each school nominates seven pupils for each of the Olympic and Paralympic Values. Awards are then given at an evening in of celebration of the these pupils achievements. Also Celebrated is the work that Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Ambassadors have done through out the year. The event is hosted at a local theatre and an Olympic/Paralympic/GB athlete is invited to attend to inspire the pupils that are at the event. The ceremony includes speeches from Headteachers and presentations of each of the values from the Secondary Ambassadors. This year we are having an overall award that will go the person that has displayed all of the values the most. We also have a a Secondary School and Primary School performing their dances as well as a Secondary singer opening the event.
