The whole school have been having weekly assemblies linked to the Olympic and Paralympic Values throughout the autumn term. Year 6 have a whole term of PE and Games lessons on Olympic and Paralympic Sports including handball, goalball, Paralympic volleyball.

All 500 pupils at Locks Heath Junior School will be taking part in 7 Olympic and Paralympic Sports throughout the day of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Day no 23rd March including Goalball, Paralympic Volleyball, Kurling, Handball and even Beach Volleyball! Each class will be representing a country and the day will begin with an opening ceremony and end with a closing ceremony which will include a celebration of the cultures (songs and dances) of some of the participating countries.
