Our seventh Google Hangout may make you feel a bit hungry! We took questions about nutrition and training from Get Set schools to put to our special guests, Natasha Hunt and Michael Naylor.
Our first guest is England and Team GB Rugby Player, Natasha Hunt. After only first picking up a rugby ball aged 17, Natasha has had huge success on the pitch, even helping England to World Cup victory in 2014. She now has her sights set on Rio 2016 as a member of Team GB’s Rugby Sevens squad.
Our second Hangout guest, Mike Naylor, is the Lead Performance Nutritionist for the English Institute of Sport and works with both Southampton FC and alongside Natasha and her teammates at the Rugby Football Union (RFU). He, Natasha, and the rest of the RFU are working hard to make sure that Team GB Rugby will be fighting fit and ready for Rio!
Watch the hangout now to find out top nutritional tips, learn how to prepare for competitions, and discover what a rugby player has for breakfast!
Thanks go to: Channing School, London; St Joseph's RC Primary, Tredegar; St Mary's Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy, Brigg; Greenslade Primary School, Plumstead; New Quay Primary School, Ceredigion; St Mark’s Primary, Swanage, and (last but not least) Moor End Academy, Huddersfield, who all sent in their questions!
