Teacher notes
The Design a mascot challenge provides a creative challenge for pupils/students to plan, design and create an eye-catching mascot for Team GB and ParalympicsGB around the theme of ‘pride’. Using previous mascots, pupils/students will identify what makes a good mascot, and they can plan and design their own mascot using the key features identified.
Support: In small groups, create a list of features you will include in your mascot design.
Challenge: Write a backstory for your mascot with name, birth place, hobbies, family, etc.
