Explore the great outdoors with our activities created with Protect Our Winters UK. This collection of inclusive, winter-inspired activities encourages young people to step outside and take time to notice the special sights, sounds, and feelings of the season. Inspired by Milano Cortina 2026, the activities support physical engagement, curiosity, and social connection, whatever the weather.
Use the six prompts with your class to guide outdoor exploration. You can focus on one prompt together or allow pupils to choose what they would like to explore, helping them engage with winter in a way that feels meaningful to them. Ideal for schools, clubs, or home learning, the activities can be enjoyed independently, in pairs, or in small groups.
